Been up to a lot of things in-game recently.... I've been trying to get a Jelly Ring recently, and thus, spent time in the sewers below San d'Oria caming the Sewer Syrup. The Mousses were easy enough to solo, just a hassle to have to recast Sneak every time I have to rest..... Eventually: Meh... kinda hard to see, but he's there! So I finish off the Mousse I have and rest up. Once I got full MP, cast Gravity, Sleep (resist), Bind, and then: Waited at the West Ronfaure Zone, waiting for it to show up.... It was a long-ass wait, wondering if it lost aggro, or if it's still chasing me. If I run back and it finds me, I might get aggro! If it stopped, then I have to go back and repeat the process! What a conundrum! But eventually it showed up and smacked me around some. I tried kiting it around, but it didn't really work and eventually I resorted to the cheapest method of killing mobs.... Zoning and DoT..... It took around half an hour... but I did it! And I got my Jelly Ring and around 10k in gil! 'Twas fun! Since the SeaMen were doing Promathia Mission 2-5 and my WHM was around 3k exp to 40, I tried Beseiged to gain exp! That's when I truly realized how powerful Blink is. A Beseiged Strength NM Casting Flood on me, and it's merely absorbed by shadows.... But yeah, I basically spammed Banish on the undead mobs to lower their damage resistance... but I only got around 500 exp.... ._. IMA DD! So yeah. Anyway, Sunday comes around and we go do the mission! Took forever for scale to drop.... so yeah. We do that and get to Monarch Linn, and while we were preparing: Yay! So yeah. We fight the Mammets! and I get in a lil' DDWHM action! Win! So yeah. The 2 Ninjas really made it easy. Throw in Alatariel kiting the third with a Tiger Pet made it easy! 'Grats Everyone! Just in time for Beseiged! And then I got charmed. No one killed me ._. And I have no idea what's goin' on in this picture..... And I thought this was pretty: And them I'm important! And then me and Vitalis had a level 1 Race from San d'Oria to Bastok! But first we trade! THEN WE START! I originally ment to use Invincible by these bats so I could run away and not die (I know that they lose aggro eventually), but the way it turned out, I never got hit at all... wasted my 2-hour.... ._. CONTINUE! So yeah. We made it. Vit Won.... ._. But it was fun....

Ballista, Beseiged, and 71	[Feb. 1st, 2007\|09:10 pm]
So yeah.... PlayOnline is down for Registration Maintenance, so I've decided to update my LiveJournal! So my friend Vitalis has been talking about quitting for about.... 2 months now (was gonna quit end of December, but never got around to it). Now he's the one that started playing this game, and convinced (i.e. lied out the ass) me to play as well. I'm still waiting for that Expansion that goes into Space, and introduces the Gun-Mage job (Corsair don't count!). Also I've never seen Dool Weapon in West Ronfaure and that cave in the Valkrum Dunes isn't the lair of Emerald Weapon. -.- So yeah. Before he quits he wanted to Duel me in Ballista. So I reserved a level 60 cap time slot and we went for it. His Corsair didn't fare too well. Just not that suited for PvP. Although he got off a number of Slugshots, he couldn't mitigate enough damage. Although he did catch me that one time when he used Light Shot and put me to sleep..... But, eventually he switched to his Thief, more suited for PvP. We went Ballista Royale Rules, and started off the match with melee only, no buffs (other than food). Surprisingly it was a close match He actually had some small % HP left... but he beat me ._. Maybe if I used Sushi instead of Fishkabobs I might've done better.... although the kabobs reduced the damage he did a bit..... Round 2 was closer we both were close, but I only JUST managed to beat him: Unfortunately, that was the last time I beat him for the rest of the matches (except for the last battle, but we ran out of time). But it was fun, and luckily Vit thought it was fun too (this made my day): Then came Beseiged. I got to party with Alatariel and Buddah. Ala beat me to 72..... (although honestly, there was no contest ._.), and spent the time skilling up his magics. Since I've been 70 for almost.... I dunno several weeks, most of my skills were capped. blarg. At least I helped DD some! I was useful! Nah, the only thing that made that do better than my old one (below) was the Giants Drink....... Then we went on an adventure to the Boyahda Tree, where Ala worked on breaking the latent effect on his Dagger of Trials! But it was all a trick for my benefit for: Finally 71! ;=; So I finished capping off my Enfeebling and Dark Magic skills. Elemental..... I'll do it later. Enhancing does it on it's own. Healing.... it doesn't really help. And Divine. Would be useful if I had any Divine Spells. And I'm not subbing White Mage, because I'm lazy and I like having Warp from Black Mage! So to finish things off I decided to see if I could Chainspell-Drain tank a Steelshell..... Worked out pretty well... Last time I tried that was around level.... 50-something in Kuftal Tunnel on a Robber Crab.... didn't work out so well.... ._. Well.... that seems like a good update. So... yeah..... either leave a comment, or beat it!

So I haven't been up to much in Final Fantasy... well, leveling wise. Everyone is leveling up, and I'm still at level 70. I really don't have that much time to play, so I'm basically stuck to playing solo most of the time.

Lucky there's Beseiged otherwise I'd never get any real experience points.

It's also fun because I can screw around with stuff like RDM/DRK for Vorpral Blade and stuff! And with Sushi, I can actually hit the mobs!

Crappy damage. That's the lesson. Sushi means you can hit, but your damage suffers. It also can lead to:

I actually died twice in that Beseiged.... I actually prefer to go RDM/WHM, because then I get Reraise and Status cures, so I don't go running around with Burn slowly eating away at my HP... So yeah.

Chocobo raising is fun, even though your chick is an axe murderer...

But it's so cute! And cheap since it loves NPC Carrots for like... 30 gil (rather than 1.5 k fancy carrots....)
